Not long ago, thanks to Carrieann Best and Karyn Lessard, a small group of dogs and their people used to gather at a local park for some off-leash fun. The small group grew and grew as more people found out about it.
The dogs had a blast -- and the owners got some much-needed outdoor time. You can't help but smile when you see a group of pups running along at top speed with a little terrier leading them all in a great chase. The best part was that everyone took responsibility and made such that the gatherings remained safe and fun.
Soon, the group outgrew the little park and some started trying to figure out how we could get something like a dog park started. Some mentioned the terrific efforts of Gina Delaney. (You may have seen her group marching in the 2015 Plymouth Fourth of July parade.)
The groups joined together to work towards a common cause. Now we ask you to join us in making the dog park a reality.
We are currently in the process of applying for non-profit status, which is no small feat. Check back to see how we're progressing!
What a great group today!!! Sadie had a blast.

“Getting Leeroy out with the group to run hard for an hour or so changes the entire week."
